SKATE COACHES
Our skate coaches skate in a variety of styles and do not have to be "the world's best skater" to coach for us. It is more important to us that they embody our values and share our vision. We generally aim to recruit our skate coaches from our pool of volunteer marshalls, however if you are interested in becoming a skate coach for us, please drop an email detailing your experience level.
VOLUNTEER SKATE MARSHALLS
As The Skate Sanctuary is a community interest company (CIC) and therefore does not make a profit, the skate marshall role is primarily a voluntary role, with some paid opportunities available for private events. A skate marshall's main responsibility is to support smooth event running and safety and you will be required to complete online training to achieve this. You do not necessarily need to be on skates to perform this role.
