About The Event
Join our youth class at The Skate Sanctuary to have your kiddo make a great start to their roller skate journey.
Our coach team are experienced with getting skaters rolling and building their confidence.
Adults must remain on site during the session, (in the car park is fine) and support their child to put their kit on and take it off at the end of the session.
No filming or photography during the session.
It is normal for learners to fall during the session - we understand that falls are always a little shocking! While we take every precaution to look after your child, accidents, including sprains or breaks do happen.
If your child has additional needs, please ensure they have the usual amount of support they may require to access a class. We also ask that you mention to the coach that your child has additional needs. We will always do our best to accomodate people with additional needs, however, it may be more suitable to book a private session, as we are not able to provide 1-1 tuition within a group setting.
Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing.
The one-hour class includes time to put kit on and take it off. This is an important part of the learning.
Strictly no phones or devices are allowed during the class. In case of emergency, the adult on site will be called in the first instance.
We are unable to offer sibling discounts due to the small group sizes.
Terms and Conditions of booking:
All children must have a waiver signed by a responsible adult.
Children in this class must wear the safety gear provided.
No filming or photography during the session.
Adults must remain on site during the session, and support their child to put their kit on and take it off at the end of the session (if required).
Cancellation / Reschedule
We are happy to re-arrange or refund your session, providing you let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your session time. You can email skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk or call 07479 430404.

We are located a 10 minute walk from Leeds city bus station and the Yorkshire Playhouse. Facing the playhouse, turn left and walk past Leeds City College, under the painted bridge. You will find yourself at the end of Mabgate. Walk to the other end of Mabgate, past The Hope Foundry on the left and turn right obto Skinner Lane. Turn right again onto Macaulay Street and you will see the large open gate and downward slope to Mabgate Mills on your right. The Skate Sanctuary is the first building on your left. Look for our signs on the windows and door.

There are extensive roadworks on the A61 Regent Street at the moment, so if you are driving through Leeds city centre, please allow additional time.
There is free parking on-site after 5.30pm. Please note the car park spaces are tight and you may prefer to park on Macaulay street (also free) and walk round.
The car park operates a one-way system. To exit, use the right hand corner gates. Approach slowly and wait for the sensor to open the gates, to exit onto Mabgate.
