Watch me struggle to change the apparently easy to change cushions on my Arius plate! It's really not that hard, my plate is a bit older and it was a bit stuck in places. Why am I swapping for medium cushions? To have more stability and less lateral movement. This will aid my balance. At least in theory. My preference for cushions is slightly firmer in the heel. Have you got a slightly tired looking boot and it's time for a refresh? Get some suede dye on it and you'll be laughing! Just make sure you know what to do. Most boots will require 2 bottles of dye - you won't use all of it, but you'll have some left for touch ups. Suede is more absorbent than Nubuck . Colour mixing applies, so whatever colour you start with, consider testing a small patch. eg. if they start pink and you colour them blue, they may end up purple. This short tutorial was filmed at MOVE IT SHOW 2026, and sadly the audio was terrible!
