Join Friend of The Skate Sanctuary Joy for an evening of workshops on Yoga and/or Fan Flow

Move. Reveal. Take up space.

This workshop is your full-body permission to move loud, proud, and powerfully.

In this playful 90-minute workshop, you’ll explore the art of sensual movement, twerk technique, and fan choreography—all rooted in mobility, body confidence, and the celebration of your curves.

We’ll start with a sensual flow yoga warm-up to wake up your hips, thighs, and core, then drop into booty isolations and twerk fundamentals, and finally bring it all together with large 33-inch clacker fans for a flirtatious, sassy, and expansive dance flow.

The fans are your power pieces.

They punctuate your pauses, amplify your extensions, and help you reclaim the space around you.

This workshop is about exploring movement as a tool for joy, sensuality, and unapologetic self-expression. You’ll leave feeling more flexible, more grounded, more connected—and a little bit more of the YOU you want to be.

I will need hire skates, is that possible?

Hire skates are available for £2 on the door if required.

I have a Skate Pass, why is there no discount?

Guest Teacher workshops are not included with your monthly membership as we want to pay them as much as possible.

How do I find the venue?

The Skate Sanctuary is at Mabgate Mills, entrance from Macaulay Street, through a large gate.

Free parking on site after 5.30pm, before this time, parking is restricted to permit holders only.

Ticket Terms and Conditions:

All skaters must have a completed waiver, which is valid for one year from the date it is filled in.

Under 18s  must be accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult

All identities and genders are welcome.

We welcome inline skaters.  Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed.

You authorise The Skate Sanctuary to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to the studio team if you do not wish your image to be included.

Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 10 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time.

We are happy to refund/reschedule tickets if you tell us by email more than 24 hours in advance of the session.  Please email skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk  We are not able to accept cancellations via social media DMs.

You undertake all activity at your own risk. The Skate Sanctuary cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury.

Wellness Policy:

By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating.

It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating.  If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket.

If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of The Skate Sanctuary team at the start of the session

If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
