It's really easy to forget your warm up and rush straight into skating, yet even just a few minutes can loosen your joints and help to protect you from injury. Think about working from top to toe so you isolate each part of the body. Start in your shoes and move to balancing while rolling - this is safer than staying on the spot. If you're limited for space, we always suggest you do your warm up off skates for safety.

Spinning is one of those skate tricks. That looks really cool! I always thought it was out of my reach until I'd been roller skating for a few years, but the truth is you just need to know about how to balance and position your body. You can start your journey to spinning once you have got control over forwards motion and you can stand still on the spot.
