About The Event
Coach Jason Gray has been exceptionally busy for the last few years, as he toured with his own show - The Skate Company - and Starlight Express. He is now coaching the Starlight Express skaters and dancers in Wembley and has developed lots of new techniques to share.
If you are interested in jam, artistic, speed skating or some Starlight Express inspired choreography - this workshop is for you!
Techniques will be covered first, with choreography later in the afternoon.
Please bring your own lunch as the Sikh sports hall is not located within walking distance to cafes or shops.
Part of your ticket includes free entry to the evening jam session at The Skate Sanctuary, Mabgate Mills. A jam session is a dance session - a bit like a club night - which with RGG, is skate friendly. There is no requirement to be on skates in the evening, however you are welcome to wear them. The Skate Sanctuary studio will be open from 7.30 - 11pm.
Early bird tickets available until July 20th
Can I bring my own refreshments?
Yes of course. We want to keep this skate space alcohol free, so ask you do not bring alcohol to consume on the premises, including the car park. Should you spill your drink, please let a marshall know straight away. Please make sure you are not eating and drinking while you skate, that includes chewing gum. We will offer complimentary tea and coffee.

Yup. We welcome all wheely-booted folks.
I don't identify as a girl, can I come?
Absolutely! Roller Girl Gang was founded and is run by women, with the support of our fantastic volunteer team, to provide better access to roller skating for all genders and identities, especially marginalised folks.
Can I collect my shop order?
You absolutely can, providing you have made the order with sufficient time for the team to plan this. You can contact the shop directly on +44 7479 430404 .
How do I find the venue?
The Ramgarhia Sikh Sports Centre is near Sheepscar Interchange on Chapeltown road. Drive in through the ornate gates and up the slope to the sports hall at the back of the site.
There is plenty of free parking outside the front of the sports centre. Bus stops are right outside the gate.
Please wait in the hallway outside the sports hall until invited in, as we will be finishing the earlier class.
