Solstice Roll Out
Our 6th Annual Roll Out around Leeds - leave from The Skate Sanctuary This year, we are keeping out of the very centre of Leeds to avoid any revellers. We also want to make it accessible for less experienced skaters so the pace will be slow and the route as flat as possible.

The Skate sanctuary team aims to create safe spaces for Roller skaters of varying experience levels, so you are welcome if you are new to street skating. We usually ensure that a skater who knows the route is at the back of the street skate so that no one gets left behind.
That said we would expect that you follow the below recommendations:
Whilst The Skate Sanctuary team members who attend outdoor meetups will try and keep participants safe, all skating activities are at your own risk, as it would be if you were skating alone.
Outdoor meetups are not coaching sessions, they are social meetups and whilst The Skate Sanctuary team members may give some skating advice, it is purely at their discretion.
Participants must ensure they are both well enough to skate and have the skills to skate in the location where the meetup is being held. (Please note that whilst we try to stick to a fairly flat route, Leeds City Centre is hilly, has uneven pavements and parts of the route may mean you need to skate in the road, or on a cycle lane).
You do not need to complete the entire route, If you do decide to leave the group for any reason, we would appreciate it if you ensure that someone staying in the group is aware that you are leaving, or that you wait until the next stop so that no one panics that you have disappeared!.
If at any point you do not feel able to skate to the required standard, we recommend you remove your skates. This action is at your discretion and you must not rely on a team member to tell you to do so.
Whilst we will do our best to not leave anyone behind, participants skate at their own risk and are expected to look after themselves, understand the route and stay aware of their surroundings
