About the event
What will you learn?
From helping you find your confidence to explore the world of roller skating for the first time, to identifying blocks and fears around particular movements, through to advanced skate skills, Mel can support you.
Our focus is on good technique and correct form. Building solid foundations will allow you to apply these to future skills by yourself.
Everybody’s progress is different, and roller skate skills are tricky at first! Once you feel comfortable and balanced on 8 wheels, and feel more confident, skills will develop more quickly. We suggest you wear protective pads to help you feel comfortable.
Roller skating is a great exercise for all ages. We have hire skates in UK sizes ranging from junior 8 to adult 12. Children are welcome to join you in your private group. Age is no barrier!
Hire kit is included with this session.

About Mel:
Mel is our company director and is passionate about getting the world rolling on eight wheels! She is a qualified teacher with 20 years experience, a qualified Skate Coach, now having supported thousands of people in roller skating as well as gaining a Life Coach qualification.
She has been roller skating over 15 years and has taught roller skate workshops across the UK and abroad. The growth never stops though! Mel continues to seek ways to improve her teaching and learning style and roller skate skills.
