Sanctuary Students only Skate Night

Our monthly students only session. This is free for student members (sign up during our Freshers' Event on 19th September for a discount!)

This is a night to bring together skaters across different further and higher education establishments in Leeds.

If you are not a member - you can still attend! Tickets are £3 (+£2 skate hire if required)

You must show your student membership card on arrival and sign in to the studio. If you lose your membership card, you will be required to replace it for £1.

Membership cards may only be used by the named student. Additional proof of ID may be required.

If you are working on something specific, you may wish to bring your own headphones, but please ensure you are aware of others around you.

Skate Hire

Skate hire is available from the front desk for £2 per session - you can pay by cash or card

Drinking water is available for free and we have a selection of hot and cold refreshments for sale.

Video Etiquette

We are happy for skaters to take progress video for their personal reflection, however we ask you keep filming to a minimum. If you wish to film for extended periods of time, please consider booking our studio privately.

All our student members must abide by our Respect policy. If we feel your conduct is not in keeping with this policy, we reserve the right to revoke your membership at any time, with no refund.

Ticket Terms and Conditions:

All skaters must have a completed waiver, which is valid for one year from the date it is filled in.

Under 18s  must be accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult

All identities and genders are welcome.

We welcome inline skaters.  Skateboards, scooters and heelys are not allowed.

You authorise The Skate Sanctuary to take photographs and video of the session to share on their website and social media. Please speak to the studio team if you do not wish your image to be included.

Published event times reflect venue availability time - you may be asked to remove your skates up to 10 minutes before the published end time in order for us to clear the venue on time.

We are happy to refund/reschedule tickets if you tell us by email more than 24 hours in advance of the session.  Please email skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk  We are not able to accept cancellations via social media DMs.

By booking you accept our cancellation, COVID and  respect policies as well as our liability waiver

You undertake all activity at your own risk. The Skate Sanctuary cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury.

Wellness Policy:

By booking a ticket, we will assume you are well and there are no reasons you should not be roller skating.

It is impossible to provide an exhaustive list of conditions which would prevent you from skating.  If you are in any doubt regarding your fitness to skate, please consult a medical professional before booking a ticket.

If you feel you have a reason, medical or otherwise that your skating ability may be impaired, you must inform a member of The Skate Sanctuary team at the start of the session

If after talking with a member of the team you decide not to skate, no refund will be given unless the required 24 hr notice period has been met.
